Christopher united with Christ early in his life and became a member of Hickory Hill M.B. Church under
the leadership of Dr. Brodie I. Johnson.
David possessed many talents. He was an entrepreneur, owner of Shining Diamond LLC Automotive Detail
Service, Chris's Lawn Care Service, Licensed and Armed Security Officer for Jack Pirtle's Chicken. Chris was a graduate of Hamilton High School. He was outgoing, ambitious and a helpful young man. He also was the caregiver for his grandmother.
He leaves to cherish his memories with a very special friend Varonnica Dillard and his Godson Hezekiah
Moss who preceded him in death and whom he loved very much. Christopher leaves his father, Pastor
David L. Craft, two brothers, Darrell Craft and Mario Jones; one sister, Kimberly Edwards; grandmother,
Mae Birda Brown; seven aunts, Dorothy Craft, Charlene Wilson, Vanessa Craft, Estine Craft, Willie Mae (Issac)Hampton, Amanda (Larry) Weston and Norma Jean (Anthony) Jones; three uncles, Louis Calvin Cole, William Henry Cole (South Bend, Indiana), and Marcus Crutcher (Nashville, TN). He leaves one niece, Christina Deloris Craft, two nephews, Jalen Edwards, Jace Young and a host of other relatives and
friends.
visitation for David will be held Friday, January 26,2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at M.J. Edwards Funeral Home, 1165 Airways Blvd, Memphis, TN 38114. Funeral Service will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at Hickory Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 5988 Winchester Rd, Memphis, TN 38115. Committal Service will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 11:55 AM to 12:15 P.M. at Calvary Cemetery, 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38106.
