Dana E. Daniels

Dana E. Daniels, 69, of Memphis, passed away October 14, 2014. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, and a Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Central Church, 2005 East Winchester in Collierville. Dana was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and he retired as a Warehouse Manager with S. P. Richards. An avid outdoorsman, he had a “green-thumb”, volunteering at the Botanical Gardens and Eastwin Christian Church Memory Garden. Dana also volunteered as a Facilitator with the Memphis Stroke Group. He was a member of Central Church and former member of Eastwin Christian Church. Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Daniels. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Penny F. Daniels; 2 daughters, Julie Daniels and Jennifer Atencio-Stokes (Jon); his son, Matthew Daniels (Toni); his father, Cleon Daniels; 9 grandchildren, Alex, David, Tyler, Senada, Nicole, Jeremias, Allie, Annie, and Matt; and 2 sisters, Jane Youngs (Gerry) and Nancy Wandall (Mike).
