Christopher Wendell Holley

Christopher Wendell Holley, 28, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016, in Memphis, TN. Chris loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Chris loved nothing more than to be spending time with friends and family. He had a contagious smile and loving heart that would help anybody. Chris loved to surround himself with people: whether that meant riding in the bottoms with friends or spending time at the beach with his family. He was charming, funny, outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic about life. Chris will be remembered for a brave, kindhearted, and loving person. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Summers, a paternal grandfather, Bobby “Dado” Holley, and his great grandparents, Buddy (Virginia) Owen, Orvil (Athalyne) Summers, Pluma (Zuma) Holley, and Lonnie (Nina) Reese. He is survived by his Mother, Charlotte Cooper (Michael), his father, Wendell Holley; two brothers, Tyler and Jake Holley; a sister, Lori Holley; a maternal grandmother, Eola Summers; a paternal grandmother, Reba Holley; two uncles, Dempsy and Paul Summers; one aunt, Cindy Armstrong (James); six cousins, Bobby Armstrong, Jennifer Ferris, Hunter and Chase Ferris, Franklin and Jerica Summers; He also leaves behind numerous close friends. Family will receive guest on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Family Funeral Care. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery
