Charles Archie Cook

Charles Archie Cook, age 86, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021. Charles was born September 22, 1935 in Helena, AR. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Chamness; his father, George Wally Cook; his wife, Ann Cook; his brothers, his sisters and his 4 children; Charles, Sharon and twins Billy and Wally Cook.

Charles loved working in the yard and with plants. He worked at Design Foliage for most of his adult life and he was also a fork lift operator. Family meant the world to him and he loved his wife (Ann) with his whole heart.

He is survived by his daughter, Charlottes Sullivan (Matt); his brothers, Raymond Cook, Wayne Cook and Bill Carson; 1 sister, Loretta Reeves (Ray); 9 grandchildren, Tamran Thigpun (Scott), Brad Sullivan, Nikki Graham(Jonathan), Gabby Force, Chris Cook, Leslie Sepeda (Pete), Jessica Kidd (Jarrett), BJ Cook, Kayla Cook; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM with services to follow at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. The entombment will be held at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd., Memphis, TN 38134 immediately following the services.
