Charlene Elizabeth Dayton Moody

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Herbert Preston (Pete) Moody, Jr. and her son, Herbert Preston Moody, III. She is survived by her sister, Lillian Pechmann, 99, of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Carol Hatchett (Steve); son, Stephen Moody (Linda); grandchildren, Morgan Ragland (Jeremy), Mary Oddo (Matt), Beth Moody, Kevin Moody, Winston Moody (Sarah), Lauren Moody; and great grandchildren, Sam and Madeline Oddo.

Pete and Charlene were part of the Greatest Generation and shared those qualities with their family. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 15, 2019 from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Park on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 1pm.
