My sweet sissy!! I miss you so much!! Fly high baby girl and please watch over us.

Candace, you were one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. Your beautiful smile and your kindness will forever be missed. Uncle Butch and family, truly heart broken 💔. Love always.

Candace to me...A kind, gentle and wise soul from the very beginning. At my first base we shared a room together first and then became suitemates and I was lucky to have such a solid human and a friendly smile on the other side of that door...every time.  At the hospital for first babies, Weddings & 20+ years' worth of checking in about our families, work & life no matter which side of the globe the other was on and retiring from the Air Force pretty much the same time.  One thing about Candace is that no matter the time since the last call or text it was like no amount of time ever passed. Still gentle, solid & wise.  The Perfect Super Wing Woman.  The last time we spoke she, "double dog dared" me to do something bold. I can picture that big ole smile on her face as she said it.  Candace, I will continue to be bold and never forget that smile when I am. I am going to miss calling on you terribly, but I know you are with your Heavenly Father and if you can't be here...I know for a fact there is nowhere else you would rather be. I love you always, Sister.

Candace ran with our 22d Communication's Squadron Missing in Action (MIA) memorial run. She was the heart of many activities like that within our squadron. 

My heart breaks with yours as I think about our loss. I say 'our' because Candace touched my life as she has so many others! She was so dedicated (along with Valon) to consistently bringing her son to his speech therapy sessions! She and I would talk about her love for art and our love for flowers! We would walk around the gardens here at the clinic and talk about the flowers and how much Nora loved them as well! I encouraged her to continue to pursue her love of art and she continued to bless me with her beautiful smiles and appreciation for me working with Jeremiah❤️ Candace, and her family, will forever have a special place in my heart!❤️ 

Fort Bragg and Afghanistan.  We had a lot of good times there. She was a good friend. Rest easy Candace. Prayers for your family during these difficult times to come.

I had the honor of meeting Candace at Wright  Middle School and we remained good friends until this day. We have gone through so many life challenges as growing up from kids to adults but she is in a better place now watching over all of us. Love you forever girl!
