Camille was born to Phillip Umbert and Ameera Paige Pierini on July 15, 1942. After graduating from high school, “Meal” spent over 30 years working in finance – making memories with friends made at C & I Bank, National Mortgage, and FedEx. No matter if it was a normal day at the office or a trip “jump seating” on a plane to Hawaii, Camille was known for being sweet and always having a smile.
She is preceded by her parents, her brothers Phillip “Bubba” and William “Billy” Pierini, and sisters Ameera Gaia and Bettye Lopez. Camille is survived by her beloved children: Michael Moretta and Denise Watson (David), and her sisters Susie Hagey, Dorothy “Dottie” Moore, and Patricia ”Patsy” Stanfill. She was a loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, who always enjoyed her lasagna and éclair cake every Christmas.
Visitation for Camille will be held Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.
Funeral Mass will occur Monday, September 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6529 Stage Rd, Bartlett, TN 38134. Graveside committal services will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery.
