Caffi Marlene Kirk, 67, of Southaven, MS went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Caffi was preceded in death by her father, E.C. Pittman; mother, Dorothea Laughlin; and brother, Eddy Pittman. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Kirk; daughter, Joanne Kirk(Robert); son, Jason Kirk; grandchildren: Joel(Shelby), Kayla, Alana, and Landon; one great-grandson, Alvin; and her step-mother, Carol Brame who she affectionately called "Wicked". Caffi was born on June 4, 1955 in Memphis. She is a 1973 graduate of Trezevant High School. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from the University of Memphis and then went on to get her masters in teaching - special education from U of M as well. She retired from FedEx where she worked as a paralegal. In her free time, she loved to go on cruises and usually went on at least 2 cruises every year. In years past, she volunteered at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis. One of her greatest joys in life was being “Granny Caff” to her grandchildren. Caffi was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Open Heart Church. The family will receive friends at Family Funeral Care for a time of visitation on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 12-2 pm with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her honor to John 3:16 Ministries in Charlotte, AR (john316thecure.com)
