Brandon Allen Smith

Brandon Allen Smith, lifelong Memphis resident, died of heart complications on November 14, 2016. He was just 44 years old. Born on July 14, 1972, he was the only child of Donna Dyer Smith and the late Norman Allen Smith. Brandon graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 1990 and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors of Finance in 1995. He moved back to Memphis where he worked for Union Planters Bank, First Tennessee Bank, owned his own landscaping business and most recently as a sales representative for Acura of Memphis. He was very patriotic, passionate about his family and friends, and had an enthusiasm for guns, knives and coins. The family will receive guests on Friday, November 18, from five o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, and a memorial service will be on Saturday, November 19, beginning at ten o’clock in the morning, all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. Brandon is survived by three children: Evan B. Smith, Ali Daniels and Ian Daniels; and many extended family and friends. Financial contributions in Brandon’s name may be sent to the organization of the donor’s choice.
