Bonna Jean (Bonnie) Cox, 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Loving wife and mother, avid reader and book lover who inspired a love of literature in all her family members. Retired caregiver and life-long animal devotee and animal rights advocate. Survived by husband, John P. Cox; daughter, Pamala Collins (Steve Morrison); sons, Jack Collins (Moira Horton); Neal Collins; John E. (Ricky) Cox. Grand-daughter, Caitlin Neal Morrison; Grandsons, Stephen Colin Morrison and Nathan Collins. Brother, Charles Anthony McCarver. Sisters-in-law, Judy Baird and Lisa Thomas. Nieces, Christy McCarver and Leah McGugan. Nephew, Jonathan McCarver. Services to be held Sunday, February 2, 1:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memphis Humane Society or House of Mews.
