My Condolences to the family. Coach Walker was a great mentor to young black males at Coldwater Elementary & Junior High School.

To Mrs. Joyce Walker and Family,
Please know that you have our deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband.
He was our Physical Education Teacher at Tate County High School.
Coach Walker was a great Baseball Coach and friend.
The Mississippi Industrial College Family will truly miss him.

I am  so glad we never missed an opportunity to say "I love you ".  You meant so much to so many.   My father.  My friend .  My first love.   I miss you soldier.  Your advice and your sense of humor was a sight to see and a sound to hear!  I loved being Billy Walker's daughter.  Coach Walker to some.  Sgt. Walker to others.   Big Red to a few.  Lone Eagle to most.   Uncle Billy to many.  Pops to us.  Your legacy lives on!  We love you Daddy .

Coach Billy Walker poured himself into us as 3rd through 6th graders at TCAC at Coldwater in the 70’s.   He taught us good sportsmanship in our PE Class.  He gave us a foundation to build on in junior high and high school sports.  Coach Walker instilled a work ethic in me at that early age that I carried with me through 4 years of college football and even to 2 professional tryouts.  
My sincerest condolences to his family at this time.  May God comfort you and bless you with all the great memories of you dad.  He was loved by so many, I am one for sure
