Betty L. Langford Sherrod, 84, of Memphis, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015. She was a devout member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved by her family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Harold Lloyd Sherrod, granddaughter Amy Sherrod Tolbert, two brothers and three sisters. Betty is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Joy) Sherrod, Michael (Cathy) Sherrod, and Patrick (Paula) Sherrod, a sister, Helen Langford Watkins, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, February 25 from 5-7pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 10am also at the funeral home. The interment will follow at Memorial Gardens.
