Mrs. Betty Bullock Gambrell

BETTY BULLOCK GAMBRELL, 85, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Bruce Gambrell, devoted mother of David (Cindy) Gambrell and Carolyn (Ken) Harvey, loving grandmother of Jennifer Harvey, Ryan Harvey, and Matthew Gambrell and sister of Mary Jane Price and Minor Murrah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Minor and Mrs. Birdie Mae Bullock. Betty and Bruce founded Gambrell Equipment Company and worked together for 65 years. She attended Miss Mussenden’s School for Girls. She was a member of Eastwood Garden Club and Christ United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service at 3 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012 all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
