Barbara J. Alexander

Barbara was a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. Those are just some of the titles but amazing, generous, giving, loving and beautiful best describe her. Her children, grandchildren and her church were her world. Everyone who knew her is better because of it. Her Faith was unbreakable.

Barbara was born in Memphis, TN. She was a resident of nearby Southaven, MS for most of her life.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Belle Gee and Richard Baugh, her sisters Sue Brown and Connie Baugh and her brother, Billy Baugh.

Barbara is lovingly remembered by her children, Rusty Alexander and Leslie (Burt) Hurff; her grandchildren, Leah Hurff, Grace Hurff and Henry Hurff; her nieces and nephews and other relatives.

The visitation will be held at DeSoto Hills Baptist Church, 4680 Getwell Rd, Southaven, MS, on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 9-11am. The service will follow immediately in the same location. The Interment will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN, at 3pm the same day.
