Austin R. Alexander

Austin R. Alexander, 34, of Nashville, formerly of Memphis, passed away December 13, 2014. A graduate of White Station High School, Austin was a trim carpenter and in his spare time loved to fish and cheer on the Tennessee Titans. He loved to cook and barbeque, but most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Lipsey; his grandfather, Raymond Prewett; and his uncle, David Prewett. Austin is survived by his daughter, Grace Alexander; his son, Leelyn Alexander; his mother, Patty Lipsey; his grandmother, Frances Prewett; his brother, Travis Alexander; his uncles and aunts, Eric, Billy, Carol, and Elizabeth; and his girlfriend, Yan “Sindy” Yoeun. He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him, and he will always be remembered. The family will gather with friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, and funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue.
