Arnell McKinley Horn

Arnell McKinley Horn – 93, passed away at the home of her daughter on August 28, 2015. Arnell was born to the late Bonnie Woodward McKinley and Edward McKinley in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 75 years, Joe Horn, on September 29, 2014 and one son, Reggie C. Horn. Arnell was a homemaker, a fabulous cook, a doting mother and “MiMi”. She personified Proverbs 31:10-31. She loved the Lord and was a member of Woodland Hills church of Christ in Cordova, TN. Arnell is survived by son John (Charlotte) Horn of Bartlett and daughter, Stephanie (Jamshid) Nikbakht of Memphis; grandchildren Melanie (Jimmy) Busch, Katherine (Bert) Perkins, Mary Margaret (Mike) Celosse, Mariam (Billy) Bottom and Ellen Nikbakht; and eight great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Crossroads Hospice for their care and support in her final days. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, September 1 beginning at ten o’clock in the morning. The family will meet at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Polar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119 starting at 9AM and procession to the gravesite will leave at 9:45.
