Anne Louise Shirley, 90, passed away July, 20, 2020. Anne was married to Lee R. Shirley “Shike”, for 61 years. She was a stay at home wife and mother until both of her daughters were married. She then started her career at IRS as a tax processor for 10 years. Anne belonged to the Bluff City African Violet Club of Memphis for 30 years. She won many awards for her violets. She was also a certified African violet judge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Shirley “Shike”. She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Thompson and Karen Roberts; four grandchildren, Denise Morris, Lee Thompson, Priscilla Roberts, Chris Roberts; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher Roberts, Chandler Roberts, Daniel Thompson, Cayden Roberts, Kenzie Morris, David Thompson, and Noah Roberts. She will be buried at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
