Ann (Polly Ann) Strawn King, 93, died Thursday morning, November 6, at her home in Germantown, Tennessee, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a godly woman who was known for her life of prayer and faith. As a teacher, counselor and mentor, she was an active member of the Highland Church of Christ for many years.

She was a dorm mother at Pepperdine University, worked at Bethany Home in Memphis, worked at the Christian Student Center at U of M, DHS-Adult Protective Services. Later volunteered at Hopeworks and the CSC.
Her family legacy is as grandmother for the children of Russ and Kristi York, of Manhattan KS, and her role as aunt for the children and grandchildren of Sherrill Lynn, her dear friend. These and a multitude of adoring friends survive her.
Her memorial celebration will be at 10:00 AM Saturday morning, November 15, at the Highland Church of Christ in Cordova, Tennessee. Fellowship will follow.
