My deepest condolences to Alice Hill family and loved ones - may her memory be a blessing to you.  I met Alice back in January 1987 as a newly employed CPS worker with the Department of Human Services, now known as Department of Children's Services.  She was one of the most compassionate and kindest persons one could ever meet - I saw where Sherry Schedler described her as "classy" and that is one of the first things that come to mind when describing her -  the way she dressed and carried herself exuded confidence and  intelligence. She and I last spoke a couple of years or so ago, and I was so looking forward to getting together with her next month and some of the others CPS workers from the time I work for the Department in Memphis - we had the best sex abuse unit and was recognized for our work by then Governor McWherter!

Alice had a long fight of many yrs. and held out until the end. A strong little woman.  ...But, God's test is over and she has passed with flying colors (in our eyes.) Free as a bird with her new wings.
