Addie Lunceford Uptain, 73, of Memphis, passed away September 28, 2013. The family will receive friends at 9 a.m. Monday, October 7, and memorial services will begin at 10 a.m., at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Addie retired from Schering-Plough, Inc. and was very involved in the community center at Gaisman Park. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Hoyt Uptain. Mrs. Uptain is survived by her grandson, Stephen Uptain (Tabetha) of Talladega, AL; and 3 great grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Uptain, Amber Uptain, and Isaac Uptain.
