Aaron Walter Rogers, of Olive Branch, MS died on January 1, 2015 at the age of 90. Born in Alcorn County, MS on May 14, 1924, Mr. Rogers was a member of Maples Memorial United Methodist Church who had retired from Johnston & Murphy Shoe Company after 54 years. His family will receive guests on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 10AM until 12pm at Maples Memorial U.M.C. located at 8745 Goodman Road, Olive Branch, MS, 38654. Burial will follow in the Dillworth Family Cemetery in Corinth, MS beginning at 2PM that same afternoon. Rev. John Sudduth will conduct the graveside service. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, a son, and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Charlene Dyson Rogers; daughter Teresa (Randy) Duffel of Oklahoma; sister Lynette Harris of Corinth, MS; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
