Robert proudly served honorably in the US Navy, a commitment that reflected his dedication to duty and country. Following his military service, he embarked on a career as a field service computer technician, demonstrating remarkable stability and loyalty by working for four different companies without changing jobs. His dedication to his customers earned him several awards over the years, including a trip for a week in Palm Springs, CA. This career allowed him to solve problems and support users, aligning with his natural inclination to help others.
Robert was a devoted member of Red Rock Cowboy Church in White City, OR, where he also found a community that shared his values and spirit. His faith was an integral part of his life, and it is at this church where services will be held to honor his memory.
He was happiest outdoors, whether driving a tractor, working cows, manual labor, or lending a hand wherever needed. This love for the outdoors was matched by his commitment to his family and community, often seen in his efforts to assist friends and family.
Robert is survived by his children, Kevin Rumenapp (Jamie), Laurie Dodge (Jeff), William Rumenapp (Amber), and Christopher Rumenapp (Sarah); his brothers, Richard Rumenapp (Barbara), Gary Rumenapp (Pam), and Mark Rumenapp (Kitti); his sister, Mary Ellen McDonald (Dave); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Dakota, Ashley, Corie, Dakota, Chantel (Austin), Jordan (Dustin), Tyler, Ayla, Caden, and Aria; and his great-grandson, Micah.
