Robert Roger Fredinburg, Sr., better known as: Uncle Bob wrote a book: HOW MUCH SCHOOLING DO YOU NEED TO BE COMPLETELY STUPID? (Life’s schooling not education.) On the back cover of his book, it explains who this man is.
Who is R.R. “Uncle Bob” Fredinburg? Bob is an American and U.S. Army Veteran! Born During the Great Depression, Bob learned to make his way in the world by discipline and hard work. Uncle Bob, as he is known around town, started in business at the age of 9 shining shoes. He graduated at the age of 17 from Moler Barber College in Portland, Oregon and started his business in Ashland on the Plaza with his dad: Clay Fredinburg. After twenty years behind the barber chair, he entered the real estate business and became an investor, developer and landlord. Bob has also had business dealings in the hotel and restaurant industries and is currently an auto dealer. One thing that his life has taught him is that there is no education without experience.
A private graveside service will be held, and he will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens, Medford, Oregon.
