At the age of 12, Angie and her mom moved to San Francisco, California, to join their family who had moved there prior. As an adult, Angie met Dick Inglis, married, and moved to Washington State where children Neal and Renee were born. Their family moved to Alaska, and enjoyed living in logging camps in Thornebay, and Tuxecan. In the early 70’s, Angie and her family moved to Ketchikan; where she drove a school bus, tour bus, and worked in retail.
Angie later remarried to Eugene "Geno" Tillson; whom she shared many memories of family and friends with over the years. Angie and Geno truly enjoyed the many years they spent together. In her spare time, Angie would volunteer at the Society of St. Vincent De Paul. She truly loved being able to help others. She was well known for her giving heart, compassion, humor, and strength; especially during her battle with cancer. When she wasn't volunteering, Angie loved to quilt, knit, sew, cook, garden, and spend time with her family. She would often knit hats for those battling cancer, sew trauma dolls for children, and made quilts for various donations and fundraisers.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents Ruben and Angelita Pinto; sisters Margot Orozco, Alice Mack, Helen Peralta, Yolanda DeLaTorre, and Lolita Mills; brother Ruben Pinto; husband Geno Tillson; and son Neal Inglis. Angie is survived by her daughters Reneé Burdick and Roberta Bankuti; grandsons Trevor Burdick, Paul Burdick, and David Inglis; along with several nieces and nephews; who make it clear that she is and always will be their favorite tia. Missed by many, never forgotten, and spreading laughter and joy in Heaven. Rest in peace Mommy Dearest.
A memorial service will be held to honor the life of Angie on July 10th, 2021, between 1-3pm at Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives; 550 Business Park Dr. Medford, OR 97504.
