She has been described as incredible and amazing and will be greatly missed for her love of family, strength, headstrong attitude, quick wit, smile and laugh. She left this world the same day she entered it over eighty years ago. Thankfully, her pain and suffering have ended and she’s with her beloved husband Pat again. She really didn’t know what life was without him, as they were married when she was just 16. She was a loving, loyal, and dedicated wife of sixty-five years. They were known to host some memorable Christmas parties at their warm home over the years, complete with Santa Clause. Her family was the center of her Life. She found joy in spending time with her family, playing cards, taking care of cats and plants, spending time outside and enjoying views of the Rogue Valley.
Jean attended school in Medford and lived there most of her life. Jean is survived by her sister Wynne Jenkins, daughter Cheryl Fialko and son-in-law Tim Fialko, son Bret Mahoney and daughter-in-law Desiree Mahoney, grandchildren Krista Hale, Kyra Yeager, Patrisha Guerrero, Stephen Fialko, Caitlin Mahoney, and Ryan Mahoney as well as many beloved great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jean will be laid to rest with her dear husband at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Jean's memory to SO Humane.
