Eric was the greatest Boss that hired me then he became a uncle to me. I very sad he's gone it was my turn to call Eric and I didn't hear his voice mail I had a bad feeling then I Google Eric and saw that he pass away. I love you my Friend and I'm going miss talking to you but I'm happy your with Sandy your love. RIP Peace Eric I will see you again in paradise 

Eric will always have a special place in my heart. I graduated with him in 1964 from Poway High School. He was a wonderful ASB President, always had a smile and was a handsome letterman, an outstanding football player. He will be missed and remembered by many Titans.

Eric Meyer  was not only my father but my teacher and mentor. He taught me so much as i grew through life, throw and catch a baseball, tie a fishing knot, to have patience as well as the meaning of hard work and you get what you work for, kind of taught me the value of a dollar (i like to spend $$$😂😂😂😂). He always told me that as a Meyer “if you dont have bad luck you have no luck at all”. 

 I can close my eyes and see and here him sitting in the bleachers of my baseball game all the way through high school yelling at the umpires like it was yesterday.  As well as him tell me how proud he was of me and the man i have become. I hope at the end of my life,  i have made an impact on my kids life as big as the one that my dad made on mine. 

I would like to mention one story that has always stuck out to me and i will never forget, but there are so many.

My dad took me fishing as Shasta Lake when i was 8 or 9 years old, we hike way down the bank as the lake was low that year. I bring my cassette player (yeah, im that old😂😂😂). We sat there on the rocks all day and did not catch one fish, he listened to every song i played even though he hated my choice in music. He called it Acid rock. LOL. We did not talk a whole bunch but we both sat there on the lake bank and did what we both loved to do and this was one of my favorite days ever!!!

So sorry to hear about Eric.   He was literally the boy next door.   Many happy memories    I remember he wanted to be governor someday.   I'm sorry for the loss of Eric. 

My Dad,
My dad was my first hero, he was bigger than the universe. He taught me how to catch a ball when I was just a little boy. When I was older he taught me the meaning of a dollar. I would sit in my dad's office and watch him work, he taught me how to work hard. My dad was a straight forward guy, you might not of liked what he had to say but it was truthful and honest. He was always there for me. Even well into my adult life I would call or go out to his place and asked for advice, he always seemed to have the answers I was looking for. My dad was my last hero and still bigger than the universe.  I am going to miss my dad. He was the greatest father.

Not only he was my boss with EBM Security.. For 11 years he was the greatest friend and a father figure to me.. And many of us that worked for him... We love him and he will be missed.. 

I met Eric when I was only 11 I had a crush on Eric he was working doing Security with my mom Eric and Sandy thought it was sooo cute so Eric asked if it would be okay if he could be my godfather and I was sooo excited to have him as my godfather I even called and told people that Eric is my dad. Eric was a BIG hearted man he would give his shirt off his back to people, always willing to help everyone we would call one another one Wednesday and Sundays or we would go have coffee either way we kept in contact for 32 almost 33 years .
