Crystal Jean Geidans

June 25th 1953 – June 18th 2024

Crystal was released from pain surrounded by her loving daughters Emmi and Katherine in Medford, Oregon. She was born to Willa and Bill Cason in Oregon City and raised in Molalla, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother, Sharon and Bill, and by her parents. She is survived by her three daughters, Kyra DeSantos, Emmi Herz and Katherine Bonsall.

Crystal was incredibly intelligent, kind and determined. Her life included more challenges than it should, which she met with strength and dignity. Never did she complain, but taught us all to face reality, make the best of it, enjoy life and get the Shirley Temple!

She had so much love and respect for her lifelong friend, Melinda. We are so thankful that she came and helped advocate and care for her in her last weeks of life. Karl Geidans, father of Emmi and Katherine, has stood by her side through marriage and raising their beloved children and his love and friendship was a source of happiness. She is grateful for her friends in Shasta and would often smile as she pointed to her sign that said “Let it Snow!”

We will carry what we’ve learned from Crystal about living life. Love Deeply. Laugh. Have Dignity, but be Grateful for the Blessings. Fierce Loyalty. And be Strong, but always Kind.
