Christopher Andrew McKay

Our beloved Christopher McKay was a beautiful, loving, and big-hearted soul. He was born on September 21st, 1997 and passed away unexpectedly on April 5th, 2020 at the age of 22. He is survived by his immediate family, mother Jennifer, father Clifton, sister Caitlin, and brother Cameron. Also, Clifton’s parents Gary and Rose Tackett, along with his girlfriend Lena, and her three children. We will miss him with all our hearts, but he will forever live on in our hearts and memories.

Chris was a hard worker, caring, and always had a smile on his face that could just warm your heart. He was selfless, had an intense love for dogs… sometimes more than humans, and an amazing sense of humor. He touched the lives of many, and to lose him so quickly, is an absolute shock and tragedy that will hurt us all forever. He was growing into a successful young man with such bright plans for his future. He was a son, brother, friend, and family member. Anyone that knew him could not help but fall in love with his southern accent and his charm!

For our family/friends, losing Chris so quickly and unexpectedly has left us in absolute shock and despair. His life was stolen from us and we are left to pick up the pieces and find a “new” normal in life without his beautiful face.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we are unable to provide a funeral service for Christopher. At this time, the family has chosen to hold a Celebration of Life at a later date once we are able to hold a gathering. We will keep everyone posted as to when and where that Celebration will be held.
