Vera Ruth Buchanan Guilmain Smith, born in Everett, Washington to Ruth Buchanan and Clyde Bassom on January 13, 1923.
She is survived by her children, Larraine Lemire, Ralph Guilmain (Eleanor), Carolyn Bailey (Allen) and Beverly Sloan.
She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Lisa Kreig. Vera outlived two husbands, Robert Guilmain and Frank Smith. She died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at age 100 years and 13 days on this earth;and was a resident of Hanover County for 20 years.
