A dedicated professional geologist, Michele's passion for her clients and co-workers was evident each and every day. Michele’s love for rocks, gardening, and the outdoors guided many vacations throughout the years to the mountains and beaches with her family. Her true joy was her beautiful girls who shared her love for the outdoors.
Her adventurous spirit was reflected in her love for fast cars and her unforgettable camping trips with her husband and children. The ocean held a special place in her heart, particularly Cape Charles and the Outer Banks where she found peace and happiness.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jonathan R. Clary; children, Melanie (10) and Katie (7); parents, Richard L. Mathis and Carol A. Mathis; siblings, Kelly A. Luebbe (Josh) and Vicky L. Hey (Russ) and their children, Laurel and Drew; in-laws, Robert E. Clary and Barbara A. Clary; long time friends, Julie Anderson and Coryn Giordano and her two faithful dogs, Brittany and Charlie.
The family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date, with details to be shared at woodyfuneralhomeatlee.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support her children’s education fund, ensuring her legacy of love and learning continues for generations to come.
