It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Allan Loving , age 66, on April 4, 2025. Mark was a beloved son, husband, stepfather, and brother who spent his early years growing up in Glen Allen, VA until he settled with his wife in Hanover, VA. Mark loved Jesus, racing, wrestling, trains, tractors, fishing, jokes, candy, kids, family and looking at Christmas lights. He could sit outside and talk for hours about anything and everything and he genuinely loved people.
Mark leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion and is deeply missed by his wife Lisa; stepson Chad Carter; mother Jean Loving; brother Wilson Loving (Diane); sisters Donna DelVecchio (Chuck), Debbie Hart (Reggie); many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Mark is preceded in death by his father Maxie W. Loving, Sr., and stepson Curtis Carter.
A celebration of life service will take place at Compass Christian Church (8137 Liberty Cir, Mechanicsville, VA 23111) on May 10, 2025, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation
