Jesse Junior Collins

Jesse Junior Collins, age 92, of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Artie Collins, his son, Douglas Collins, his brother, Jimmy Collins, and his sister, Bonnie Mitchum. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lola Noel Collins; children, Gary Collins (Lydia) and Joseph Collins (Melissa); his grandchildren Gary (Amy), Greg (Katie), Maddie, and Carter as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bailey, and Fiona. Jesse served in the U.S. Navy and the majority of his career was with the US Postal service. He retired as US Postal Manager for the Richmond area. Jesse was an avid reader, loved fishing and spending time with the love of his life, Lola. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association. A private graveside service for the family will be held at Signal Hill Memorial Park in Hanover, VA.
