Delmer Leroy "Chis" Chisenhall, 79, of Mechanicsville, Va., passed away August 20, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife and love of his life for 54 years, Carolyn; three children, Lee Chisenhall and wife, Laurie, of Md., Debra McCauley and husband, Bryan, of Ga., Tim Chisenhall of Mechanicsville; three precious granddaughters, Lindsay, Leighanna and Holly McCauley; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Chisenhall served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the VA Air National Guard 149th Squadron. After retirement, he worked Air Guard security. He was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., and where a funeral service will be held Monday, August 25, at 12 noon. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
