C. Robert Collier, 81, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He worshiped and attended church activities at Glen Allen Church of Christ. Robert loved spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Janet Anderton Collier; daughters, Jill Tucker (John), Chrissy Collier (Mike Barker), and Jennifer Goodwin; grandchildren, Jaiden, Claire, Maddox, and Elizabeth; devoted sister-in-law, Peggy Anderton; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 10, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23116, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park.
