Vera Colleen Armstrong

Vera was born on January 15, 1958 in McGregor, Texas to Alma Booker and Fred Crawford. She was a longtime resident of McGregor. Vera attended McGregor schools and was a member of Roberson Chapel AME in McGregor. She enjoy watching television and listening to music. Most of all, she enjoyed family gatherings and wherever she was she greeted you with a big smile. Vera is preceded in death by parents, brother, Cal Davis Booker, grandparents, C. D. Armstrong, Ethel Armstrong, Uncle and Aunt George and Jimmie Morgan.

Survivors include her sister, Vanessa Roulhac of McGregor, Texas; brothers, Lawrence Booker and wife, Mary of Lamar, Colorado, Richard Booker and wife, Kelly of Fort Worth, Texas; son, Milford Booker of Irving, Texas; granddaughter, Madison Booker of Richardson, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Westview Manor where she was resident for 22 years, and Providence Hospice for their loving care.
