Tricia Ross

Tricia Ross, 69, of Troy, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2014 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor with the Reverend David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Moody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, March 6th at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ross was born on February 5, 1945 in Moody, Texas to William and Jennie (Naylor) Fletcher. She married Tommy Ross on June 5, 1965 in Moody and they celebrated over 48 wonderful years together. Mrs. Ross loved music and country western dancing. Together with her husband and family they played at area Senior Citizens Dances for many years. She loved her family dearly but the biggest thrill in her life was her grandchildren. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Boyd Fletcher and Mack Fletcher and sisters; Margie Pate, Faye Johnson and Amelita Brown.

Survivors include her husband; Tommy Ross of Troy, sons; Gary Ross of Bruceville and Tony Ross and his wife, Jill of Troy, brothers; Gene Fletcher and Alford Fletcher, sisters; Willie Mae Kaldenbach and Barbara Tanner, her precious grandchildren; Maggie Ross, Jennie Ross, Tyler Ross and Christian Ross and her Monday Night music family.
