Mr. Richard Lawrence Sanders, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in McGregor, Texas. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Saint Paul Memorial Park with Reverend J. T. Miller officiating.
Richard was born on January 30, 1954 to Robert and Irene (Miller) Sanders in Waco, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Crawford, Texas. Richard graduated from Crawford High School in 1972. Richard was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Crawford, Texas. He spent 27 years in woodworking for Clifton Moulding Corporation where he retired in 2005. Richard was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed watching the games.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don W. Sanders.
Survivors include his brothers, Randall Sanders and wife, Ann of China Spring, Stanley Sanders of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law, Linda Sue Sanders of Speegleville; several nieces and nephews.
