Reid Aaron Petree

Reid was born on October 17, 1999, to Shawn and Misty (Kinsey) Petree in Temple, Texas.

He graduated from Bruceville-Eddy High School in 2018. Reid attended Texas Tech University and continued to live in Lubbock surrounded by his work family and friends. He loved being around his family and friends. He had a smile that could light up a room and a hug that could fix anything and leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Reid was the beloved son of Shawn and Misty Petree and grew up in Moody, a place he always called home. He is survived by his parents; his brothers, Ross Petree and Lance Tepe (wife, Kyla); and his cherished nieces and nephew, Kinsley, Breckyn and Madison. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Charlotte “Cha Cha” Kinsey, and Sue Heugatter. Reid is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Travis Kinsey, Sammy Petree, and his aunt, Stacey Kinsey-Kerr.
