Lynne Marie Martischewsky Ragsdale

Lynne Marie Ragsdale of McGregor passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the age of 51. A visitation will be 6 to 8 P. M. Wednesday at Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery.

Mrs. Ragsdale was born July 17, 1962, in La Mesa, California, the daughter of Burt Wayne and Helen Ann (Landsberg) Martischewsky. She was co-salutatorian of her 1980 graduating class of 500 at Lompoc High School in California. Later she continued her education at TSTC where she earned an associates degree in computer science in 1995.

On July 23, 1992, she married Neil Eugene Ragsdale in Santa Maria, California. In 2005 she moved to McGregor from Moody. She has been employed by Hercules in McGregor, American Income Life and retired from EMSI as a computer programmer.

Lynne was an avid lover of animals, more especially dogs. Dexter and Chester were her constant companions and guardians.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Helen Ann Landsberg-Martischewsky-Harty.

Survivors include her father, Burt Martischewsky of Arizona; husband, Neil Ragsdale of McGregor; a daughter, Jennifer Ragsdale and fiancé James Spires of Moody; a brother, Mike Martischewsky of Lompoc, California; two sisters, Chelle Oliver and husband Kelly of McGregor, Teri Cox and husband Doug of Garland; a granddaughter, Amelia Spires as well as many nieces and nephews.
