Kayn Ray Kemp, 26, of McGregor, Texas, passed away on June 6, 2019. A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church of Moody, Texas with a memorial service at 12:00 pm. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church of Moody, Texas.
Kayn was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Keven Ray Kemp and Katharina Luise Hendrickson Kemp. He grew up in McGregor, was a McGregor High School Graduate, and married Cayla Marie Camp on July 3, 2017. Kayn was a receiving clerk at Ferguson Enterprises in McGregor. As a young man, Kayn struggled with several issues, but when he met Cayla, he turned his life around. Marriage gave his life purpose and when his sons were born, he became whole. Everyone loved the optimistic, patient, kind, compassionate, loving man who was always smiling. He was a big family man and adored his sons. Kayn loved gaming and Black Ops was his favorite game. He loved music by Tech N9Ne, walking, the Dallas Cowboys, Baylor football, the color red, and black high top Nikes. Kayn was a practical joker and sarcasm was his second language. He was a genuine person who touched people wherever he went and was someone everyone wanted to know. Kayn will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Preceding Kayn in death were his grandfather, Karl Ray Kemp; great grandfather, James Ray Kemp; and great grandmother, Irene Mae Neal Kemp.
Survivors include his wife, Cayla Marie; sons, Karter Ray Kemp, Cyrus Russell James Kemp; parents, Keven Ray and Katharina Luise Kemp; sisters, Tiffany Ann Bratt, Myranda Brea Kemp; grandparents, Bill and Beverly June Denton; grandparents, John Patrick and Gudrun Hendrickson; father in law, Russell Wayne Gan; mother in law, Ginny Gan; sister in law, Serenity Lauryn Gan; best friend D’Anthony Aguilar; numerous aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
