Junior Fisher

Junior was born January 18, 1951 in Mexia, Texas to Henry and Lucy Fisher. On July 14, 1973 he married Ann Truelove in Waco, Texas. They moved to McGregor when they made their home. He owned and operated Fisher Auto & Radiator. Junior had many hobbies he loved to be outdoors, fish, race cars, motorcycles, restore old vehicles and tractors, and playing dominos at the domino hall. His last hobby was rock crawling with Stanley Hickey and friends. He was a man with many talents. He joined the McGregor Volunteer Fire Dept. in 1977 and served as Fire Marshall from 1996 until his death.

He is survived by wife, Ann Fisher, of McGregor, daughter Michele Meeks and husband, Ronald, of Eddy, Texas, sister Lucy Irene, brother Johnny Ray, his best friend and companion, Scooter and too many friends to list because he never met a stranger. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, Louise Glass and husband, Donald, of Gatesville, Sue Smith and husband, Charles, of Gatesville, Lucille Beaty of Oglesby and Kay Hennig of Gatesville.

The family would like to thank the Providence ICU nurses for the great care they gave Junior.
