Edna Irene Henson Weaver

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, at Cole Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Compton Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor.

Edna was born March 12, 1955 in Coryell County, Texas to William Leland "Cotton" and Lula Irene (Compton) Henson. She attended Gatesville High School and was Miss Fort Hood her sophomore year. Edna was a well known real-estate agent in the Central Texas area. She enjoyed rodeo and sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Edna also loved animals and leaves behind her two fur babies, Missy Lou and Babygirl. You could always find her listening to music. Edna was a very humble person who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kristie Weaver and brother, William Leland Henson.

Survivors include her daughters, Benja Standford and husband Ray and Samantha Terrell and husband Jason; grandchildren, Grace and Sarah Terrell and Cash and Cooper Standford; sisters, Lynn Newton and husband Bobby and Faye Alldredge and husband Barry and several nieces, nephews and friends.Arrangements under the direction of Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, TX.
