Christian Thomas Ross

Christian Thomas Ross was born on February 8, 2001 in Waco, Texas and passed away on September 6, 2020 in Temple, Texas. He was brought into his forever family when he and his brother were adopted in 2005, by Gary Ross. Christian attended most of his school years in Bruceville-Eddy and graduated high school in May 2019.

Christian loved his family and his big brother, Tyler. He had a special bond with his two cousins, Maggie and Jennie. Growing up he loved playing football and basketball and would spend hours playing catch with anyone that had the arm endurance to keep up with him. He was also a talented entertainer. From a young age, he sang with the family band and captured everyone’s attention with his exuberant voice, his beautiful smile, fun loving personality, and great sense of humor. As he got older, his love for music continued and he wrote many songs and recorded several albums.

His loving grandmother, Patricia Ross of Troy, preceded him in death. He is survived by his father, Gary Ross of Bruceville; brother, Tyler Ross of Las Vegas, Nevada; uncle and aunt, Tony and Jill Ross of Troy; cousins, Maggie and Jennie Ross of Troy; grandfather, Tommy Ross of Troy; his longtime girlfriend, Jill Wennermark; and many other relatives and friends.

A private celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas, with Pastor Robyn Ford Officiating.
