Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Post Oak Cemetery, Oglesby, Texas, with Dr. Tom Shelton officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, Texas.
Carolyn was born on May 14, 1965 to Hilliard and Viola (Lester) Thurmond, in Germany. She was longtime resident of Coryell County since July 1979. She graduated from Oglesby High School in1983.
Carolyn worked as Nurse’s Aide for 20 plus years in McLennan and Coryell County. She enjoyed painting, drawing and most of all spending time with family, granddaughter, and friends.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia La.Rocque.
Survivors include her son, Jonathan Thurmond; granddaughter; parents, Hilliard and Viola Thurmond of McGregor; sisters, Donna Browder, Sheila Thurmond, Hilliary Evans; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
