Wilma Jean Hill

Wilma J. Hill of LaFollette, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Wilma was born to the late John and Goldia (Vowell) Bradshaw in Briceville, TN. Wilma had a love for music, singing and crochet. She adored gardening and watching her violets flourish. If she wasn’t partaking in one of her hobbies, she could be found at West LaFollette Baptist Church where she shared her passion for Jesus. She never missed an opportunity outside of church to express her love for Jesus, to anyone anywhere. One way she shared the gospel is by furnishing meals for shut ins and cooking for ill church members. She was a member of Eastern Star. The most important thing to her though was spending time with family who she cherished dearly. Mrs. Hill is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, J.D. Hill; 4 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her sons, Eddie (Donna) Hill of Luthersville, GA and Terry (Carol) Hill of McDonough, GA; grandsons Jeff (Holly) Hill, Anthony (Shannon) Hill, and Jason (Melissa) Hill; granddaughters Deborah (Sam) Smith and Kimberly (Russell) Barnett; 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Graveside services will be held for family and friends 2:00 PM Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery, LaFollette, TN officiated by Rev. Sampson Ridenour.
