Today's service was beautiful and really reflected the love that everyone had for Steven. He was a great person and I know he will be dearly missed by so many. Steven will always hold a very special place in my heart. I will continue to pray for peace and understanding for his sweet family! Love y'all! ❤

To all of Steven's friends, family, and loved ones,  

My deepest condolences for you all during this sad time. I know he will be missed. I had the honor to attend school with Steven, as well as serve as part of his care team recently.   From my first memories of Steven, back in school, not only do I see his spiky hair, the memory that stands out the most was his kind-hearted spirit, laugh and smile. I had the privilege to be one of Steven's caretakers on a recent hospital visit.  We reminisced about Henry County as it was with Zack's Big Buy and dirt roads vs. today.

We also talked about the effects of aging, he made me laugh.  The thing I remember most from that conversation was this. He loved each one of you very much.
 He was very proud that he was a dad! He was proud of his nephew who had recently graduated, talking about how smart he was.  Most of all, I remember him saying that he knew his health wasn't the best and he didn't want to feel like a burden to anyone. He wanted to get better so that he could be a better son, brother, and dad.  
Hearing that he passed away, made me very sad. Not only am I sad for your family during this time,  I realize that he did not get the time to do, what it is he wanted to do. I know God has prepared a special place for Steven and that he was welcomed with open arms from all those who went before him.   I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts.

Dear Family,

From all of us at the McDonough Dialysis Center.  Mr. Kite was a special patient for all of us.  He had good days and bad days but we always remember his smile that took us through the day.  Please let us know if we can do anything.  Our prayers are with all of you.

Our hearts are broken to hear of Stevens passing. He was such a good man. His smile was infectious. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Our family will surely miss him. He gave us our grandson Ryder who is the joy in our lives. Live in peace now Steven!

I am saddened to hear the news of Steven. 
He was such a fun person to be around. After we dated, his leg surgery, and when he moved out of Bryants I lost touch with him but I still thought of him often. I will continue to pray for you, his sister, his son and all others that loved him deeply. I pray for his son to remember him, memories to be etched into everyday life, and strength during this awful time. Please let us know if you need anything. 


Steven was an absolutely wonderful friend to my husband for many years. He was always there when his listening ear was needed. I do know through my husband just how much he loved his son! He would even share updated pictures of Ryder with him. He was so proud of that boy! 

May God comfort the entire Kite family, Lauren and especially Ryder during this difficult time. 

Steven always made me laugh! We use to have the best time many years ago, after high school. Steven was always there for me no matter what the situation was, I could always count on him! This is shocking to me. He will be missed by so many.  Fly high babe! I will miss you and your smiling face!
