Wayne Benjiman Pullum

Mr. Wayne B. Pullum, age 72, of Locust Grove, GA passed away August 14, 2015. Wayne was born in Thompson, GA the son of the late Connie Bell Ryder and William Pullum. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ken Murphy and several siblings. Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working in construction, western movies and TV shows, his dogs, and just being a simple man sitting on his front porch rocking and collecting hats. Survivors are his wife, Jeanette Pullum of Locust Grove; children, Carol Ledbetter (Jim) of Locust Grove, Greg Pullum (Lisa) McDonough, Steve Pullum of Locust Grove, Tim Pullum (Stacie) of Canton, Rebecca Pullum of NC; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren; brother, Don Pullum (Joan) of Martinez; sister, Marie Bales of Thompson; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Wayne will be on Monday evening, August 17, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Ken May officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. For those who wish in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Henry County.
