Mrs. Vennice Price Deaton, age 78, of McDonough, GA passed away December 4, 2014. Mrs. Deaton was born in Trickum Valley, AL the daughter of the late Vinnie Viola Yarborough Price and Harold Buford Price. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Deaton and a sister, Judy Chandler. Mrs. Deaton enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, sewing, cooking and was known to some of her family as “Doctor Deaton”. She worked for Southern Bell for 15 years. Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Richard “Dickie” Deaton of McDonough; children, Melissa “Missy” Justice (Tim) of Stockbridge, Richard “Richy” Deaton of McDonough and Martin “Marty” Deaton of McDonough; grandchildren, Richard William Justice and Timothy Daniel Justice; sister, Vera Mae Gibbs (Howard) of Ranburn, AL; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
