Tyler Walker, Jr., beloved father, brother, and friend, was born to Tyler and Betty Walker on November 6, 1969, in Augusta, Georgia. As a military child, Tyler was blessed to experience the world from a young age, spending part of his childhood in Germany. That early exposure to global life inspired him to join the United States Navy, where he served his country with honor during two tours of duty.
While serving, Tyler was joined in matrimony to Angelique. God blessed this union with three beautiful children: Dominique, Nahja, and Jacob, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Following his military service, Tyler continued to serve his country as an Aviation Mechanic at Warner Robins Air Force Base. There, he became a skilled craftsman in the maintenance and repair of C-17 aircraft and formed lasting friendships with his colleagues—bonds that meant so much to him throughout his life.
Tyler passed away peacefully on April 6, surrounded by those who loved him deeply. Though Tyler’s parents, Tyler and Betty Walker, and his eldest sister, Ina Walker, preceded him in death, to cherish his memory Tyler leaves behind: Angelique Walker, three children, Dominique Oliver (Riolanie), Nahja Walker, and Jacob Walker, five grandchildren, Abria, Riasha, Tiasha, Latrell, and Treyvon, one brother, Zaddis Walker (Nicole), one sister, Belinda Campbell (Nate), three aunts, Barbara Council, Eva Williams, and Inez Allen, five nephews, Marcus Dent, Vontrez Dent, Christopher Dent, Zaddis Marquise Walker, and Aaryn Campbell, four nieces, Jordyn Campbell, Aaliyah Campbell, Jayla Walker, and Brittney Stateman (Anthony), great nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his children, family, and friends, Tyler leaves behind his devoted girlfriend, Cynamon Walden, whose love, support, and companionship were a significant part of his life in his later years.
Tyler’s warmth, humor, and dedication will be remembered always. He leaves a legacy of love, service, and strength that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
