Mrs. Sherrie Susan Fannin, age 72 of McDonough, Georgia passed away April 13, 2021. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late George and Martha Webb Bryant. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Allison James and by a brother, Danny Bryant. Sherrie was a graduate of O'Keefe High School and went to Esthetician School, graduating in 1996. Sherrie was a prayer warrior and loved to care for others. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Les Fannin; daughter, Wendy Golden; grandsons, Hunter (Ashley) Golden and Austin James; great grandson, Aiden Golden; sisters, Brenda Reynolds, Jennie Mashburn and Joan (John) Holmes; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021 - 2:00 PM at Bible Baptist Church in Hampton. Friends may visit the family Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held Monday at 1:00 PM at Crest Lawn Cemetery in Atlanta.
